When Wendy’s reinvented their fries and put out their hot and crispy guarantee, they needed a way to kick it off. And being October, what better way than getting spoooooky with it?
Because nothing is scarier than the other guys’ cold and soggy fries.
So we parodied horror films in a series of short vignettes. But instead of monsters, slashers, and ghouls being the villain, the real villain was the cold and soggy fry.
First up, a slasher film entitled “Fryface".
Next, a sci-fi film parodying the “so bad it’s good” 50’s sci-fi movies entitled “Attack of the Soggy Fries.”
And last but not least, a supernatural terror “Soggyfreist”.
And then we even built a haunted house during the weekend of the Florida Georgia game.

Side note: This was a proactive opportunity. Being a huge Halloween nerd, I came @ my CD like, “What can we do for Halloween this year?” and then this happened. A spooky ad girl’s dream come true. A personal favorite project I’ve ever worked on.
